Q. Why use KBB Design Company Ltd?

A. One of the most frequently asked questions of us, is why use an independent supplier rather than a large chain . The reasons are simple; firstly we operate without huge showroom costs, no sales staff on commission, we buy direct from the manufacturer cutting out the middle man and offer you a personal service.

With us you have a name not just a number!


Q. How much does a project cost?

A. As with anything, you tend to get what you pay for. The cost will obviously vary depending on the range, appliances, accessories and size of your project. Size is an important factor. The more space you need to fill the more it will cost.

As we offer such a wide range of quality products, we are able to meet all budgets.

Remember, in buying a new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom you are adding value to your home.

Money spent on a well-designed quality kitchen, bedroom or bathroom is often a good investment.


Q. How do I go about narrowing down the selection process (i.e., cabinets, worktops, etc.) with the hundreds of options out there?

A. There are many things to think about when trying to narrow down your options from the many product choices available. The best way to start the process is to determine a budget that you are comfortable with. You also need to decide on the "overall look" that you are looking for. Determining the style up front, whether it be traditional, classic or contemporary will also greatly help in the selection process. We have lots of samples and catalogues for you to look at in your own home.


Q. Who do you use for kitchen/bedroom/bathroom installations?

A. Our teams of specialist fitters are qualified in all aspects of installation. For all electrical work (NICEIC) Certificates are given and for all gas work (Gas Safe) Certificates are given. We only use professionally accredited tradesmen. To ensure a smooth installation, all projects are scheduled and are fully managed.

Q. Do you provide a Warranty?

A. There are specific manufacturer warranties for all products we supply and once installed you would generally contact them with any problems (ie appliances).

This is normal in the industry but if you are unsure we will deal with them on your behalf. Details of these can be supplied during the consultation process.

Q. Normally independent suppliers are more expensive - is this the case?

A. No not generally as we can normally be very competitive against the big companies as our installation costs are lower. Our customers find that they will get far better quality and value for money.

Q. Once the contract has been signed, when does installation generally begin?

A. Installation start time is heavily dependant on the production schedule at the time the contract is signed and deposit paid. The type of cabinets or fittings ordered typically determine the start time for the project. Basic ranges are usually available within a matter of days, however, custom ranges can take anything from 3-6 weeks, we book most of our installations 4-6 weeks ahead but will endeavour to accommadate any projects within these timescales .
